Draft pending legal review
This text is a draft for AutoFolio. A lawyer will review it before the commercial launch, so it may change. The placeholders in brackets will be filled in then. It is not legal advice.
This policy explains which personal data [Company name] processes when you use the AutoFolio app and website, why, and what you can do about it. In short: your garage is private by default.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email, language, currency and units) and what you add for your cars: costs, service, mileage, documents and photos. We also keep the technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and error reports without personal content.
Why we use it
To run the app: storing your records, calculating costs and estimates, sending the reminders you turn on and syncing your devices. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Each account is kept in one data region (EU, Brazil or US). Documents and photos are kept in private storage and are only opened through short-lived links.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. Selling a car keeps its history in your garage. When you delete your account, you are signed out at once and your data leaves the app; files are erased from storage within 30 days and encrypted backups expire after 35 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data, restrict or object to its processing and withdraw your consent, as the GDPR and the LGPD provide. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
