# Services and reminders

Members record services with items, odometer and a private receipt, correct them with a reason and a visible history, and get reminders due by date or distance with a forecast from the car's readings.

The API gains `service.create`, `service.correct`, `service.get`, `service.list` and `service.scheduleNext`, `reminder.list`, `reminder.create`, `reminder.update` and `reminder.dismiss`, and `vehicleDocument.url`. Recording a service writes a maintenance ledger entry, the service, an odometer reading and the receipt in one transaction, and can fulfil or schedule a reminder. A correction is a new ledger entry with its reason, and the service detail lists every version. Reminders are due by date, distance or both; the list comes most urgent first with the distance left and a date forecast from the car's average monthly distance. A receipt opens through a five-minute signed link. The domain package adds the reminder forecast rules.
