# Ask your assistant about your cars.

Connect AutoFolio to the assistant you already use. It answers with your garage's numbers, with source and date, and saves something only when you confirm it in the app.

## Choose your assistant

- **Claude** (Available · web, desktop and mobile): Add AutoFolio as a connector in Claude (Settings → Connectors) and sign in with your AutoFolio account.

- **ChatGPT** (Coming soon · depends on availability in your region): We are bringing AutoFolio to ChatGPT's plugin directory. This page will say when it is available to you.

- **Another assistant** (Any MCP-compatible client): Paste this address as a remote MCP server. You sign in on AutoFolio. `https://autofolio.its-live.dev/api/mcp`

1. **Add AutoFolio**: From your assistant's directory, or by pasting the address above.

2. **Choose what it can do**: Read only, or read and prepare expense drafts. You can change it later in Profile → Integrations.

3. **Ask**: Answers carry AutoFolio's numbers. Drafts wait in the app for you to save.

## Try asking

- “What did the M3 cost per mile this year?”
- “Which of my cars costs the most per month?”
- “What's due in the next 30 days?”
- “What are my cars worth after the loan?”
- “Log $40 of gas on the Corolla.”

## What it never does

- See the plate, VIN, address or where the car is kept
- Read your documents or the original photos
- Save, change or delete anything without you confirming in the app
- Sell a car or create a passport
- Call an estimate a profit: estimated values always give source, date and confidence

## Your data, your rules

Your account stays in the data region you chose. What you ask, and what AutoFolio answers, is also subject to the assistant's policy (Anthropic or OpenAI). Disconnect in Profile → Integrations: access stops at once.

### Do I need Plus?

No. It works on Free and Plus, with the cars your plan already shows.

### Can the assistant get a number wrong?

The numbers come ready from AutoFolio, with source and date, and the card shows them as they are. The assistant writes only the sentence around them, so check the card or the app if something reads oddly.

### Does my data train the model?

AutoFolio never uses your data to train models. What the assistant does with the conversation follows its own policy and your settings there (Anthropic or OpenAI).

### Does it work with several garages?

For now it sees your own garage. Garages shared with you stay in the app.
